Tomato Basil Fettuccine

|1 pkg||(8.8 oz) San Giorgio® Homestyle Fettuccine|
|1 Tbsp||olive oil|
|2 each||garlic cloves, chopped|
|2 cups||grape tomatoes, halved|
|8 Tbsps||butter, softened|
|1 cup||fresh basil leaves, chiffonade|
|1//2 tsp||crushed red pepper flakes (optional)|
|salt, to taste|
|ground black pepper, to taste|
|1/4 cup||finely shredded Parmesan cheese, divided|
- Prepare pasta according to package directions; drain.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and tomatoes and sauté 4 minutes, until tomatoes begin to soften.
- Add butter and sauté 1 minute.
- Stir in cooked pasta, basil and red pepper flakes, if desired. Continue to cook and stir until pasta is well coated. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve topped with Parmesan cheese.
Add 2 cups cooked shredded chicken or shrimp to pasta.
