Spice up your dinner with our Taco Skillet Lasagna. Layers of pasta, ground beef, and melted cheese — a delicious Tex-Mex twist on a classic dish.
|6 oz||San Giorgio® Mafalda|
|1 lb||lean ground beef|
|1 pkg(1.25 oz.)||dry taco seasoning mix|
|1 1/2 cups||hot water|
|1/2 cup||small curd cottage cheese|
|1/4 cup||grated Parmesan cheese|
|2 oz||shredded mozzarella cheese|
|1 each||tomato, cored and chopped (optional)|
|chopped parsley (optional)|
|sliced ripe olives (optional)|
- Prepare pasta according to package directions; drain.
- In a large skillet, over medium heat, brown beef; stir in taco seasoning mix, then water. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer covered for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in cottage and Parmesan cheese then pasta; heat through.
- Top with mozzarella cheese. Garnish with tomato, parsley and olives if desired.
