Asparagus and Chicken Pasta Toss

A satisfying mix of tender chicken, crisp asparagus, and al dente pasta tossed in a hearty meat sauce, a delicious and healthy meal, all in one.


16 ozSan Giorgio® Ziti
8 ozasparagus, trimmed and chopped into pieces
1/2 lbchicken, cut into pieces
1/4 cupolive oil
1 pintcherry tomatoes, halved
2 eachgarlic cloves, minced
3 ozcrumbled goat cheese
2 Tbspsfresh chives, snipped


  1. Cook pasta according to package directions, adding asparagus cuts during last 2 minutes of cooking; drain.
  2. Meanwhile, in skillet, brown chicken in oil; cook 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in tomatoes and garlic; cook 2 minutes more.
  4. Toss with hot pasta and asparagus; add cheese and chives.
