Three Cheese Baked Macaroni

Cheddar, Parmesan and Cottage cheeses are blended together to create a creamy and delicious side dish.
|8 oz||San Giorgio® Elbow Macaroni|
|2 Tbsps||onions, finely chopped|
|2 Tbsps||all purpose flour|
|1/2 tsp||powdered mustard|
|1/4 tsp||ground black pepper|
|1 3/4 cups||milk|
|4 oz||shredded Cheddar cheese|
|1 cup||cottage cheese|
|1/4 cup||grated Parmesan cheese|
|1/2 cup||buttered bread crumbs|
- Preheat oven to 350ºF.
- Prepare pasta according to package directions; drain.
- In a medium saucepan, saute onion in butter until tender. Stir in flour, mustard and pepper; cook 1 minute. Blend in milk; cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Add cheddar, cottage and Parmesan cheese; stir until melted. Combine macaroni and sauce mixture; mix well.
- Pour into buttered 2-quart baking dish. Top with bread crumbs. Bake 30 minutes.
