Spaghetti and Meatballs

Classic comfort food that everyone will love. Spaghetti and Meatballs is a simple Italian dish that never fails to satisfy.
|8 oz||San Giorgio® Spaghetti|
|1 lb||ground beef|
|2/3 cup||dry bread crumbs|
|1/4 cup||grated Parmesan cheese|
|1 tsp||dried oregano leaves|
|1/2 tsp||garlic salt|
|1/4 tsp||ground black pepper|
|1 Tbsp||vegetable oil|
|1 jar||(24 oz) pasta sauce|
|grated Parmesan cheese (optional)|
- In medium bowl, combine ground beef, egg, bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, oregano, garlic salt and pepper; shape into 1-1/2 inch balls.
- In large non-stick skillet over medium heat, heat oil; brown meatballs, turning occasionally. Drain; add pasta sauce. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cover; simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Meanwhile, prepare pasta according to package directions; drain.
- Serve meatballs and sauce over hot pasta. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, if desired.
