Pasta and Scampi

Travel to the coast of Italy with our Pasta and Scampi, featuring succulent shrimp, shallots, and a fragrant garlic butter sauce.
|8 oz||San Giorgio® Rotini|
|1 Tbsp||olive oil|
|1 lb||large fresh shrimp, peeled, deveined|
|2 Tbsps||shallot, minced|
|1||garlic clove, minced|
|2 Tbsps||lemon juice|
|1/2 tsp||hot pepper sauce|
|1/4 tsp||grated lemon peel|
|1 Tbsp||parsley, chopped|
|salt and ground black pepper, to taste|
- Prepare pasta according to package directions; drain.
- Meanwhile, in large skillet, melt butter with oil. Add shrimp, shallots and garlic; cook 2 minutes.
- Add lemon juice, pepper sauce and lemon peel; continue cooking until shrimp are pink, about 3 minutes.
- Stir in hot pasta and parsley. Salt and pepper to taste.
