2 Tbsps olive oil
1/2 cup carrot, chopped
1/2 cup celery, chopped
1/2 cup onion, chopped
2 each garlic cloves, minced
3/4 lb extra lean ground beef
1 can (28 oz.) crushed tomatoes
1 tsp fresh oregano leaves
1/2 tsp salt
16 oz San Giorgio® Cavatappi
  grated Parmesan cheese

Cooking Directions:

1.  In large skillet over medium heat, heat oil; add carrot, celery, onion and garlic. Cook 5 minutes or until tender.

2.  Add ground beef. Cook until browned, stirring occasionally.

3.  Add crushed tomatoes, oregano and salt; heat to boiling. Reduce heat; simmer 15 minutes. 

4.  Meanwhile, prepare pasta according to package directions.

5.  Toss hot cooked pasta and sauce; sprinkle with cheese.
